Things People Often Ask
Do I need any coding experience to start the first course?
Data Foundations for AI doesn't require prior coding. You'll pick up the Python basics you need as part of the exercises. If you already know some Python, you'll find the early weeks consolidate rather than bore.
How much time do I need to set aside each week?
Most learners spend between five and eight hours per week — spread across study, exercises, and any questions they send to tutors. The pacing is designed with working adults in mind, so there's flexibility in when within the week you study.
Can I take the courses in any order?
The three courses form a natural sequence. Machine Learning in Practice assumes the foundations covered in the first course, and Deep Learning Projects assumes that and more. If you have relevant prior experience you can enter at a later module — we're happy to discuss your background before you enrol.
What does tutor support look like in practice?
Tutors respond to submitted exercises and questions within three working days. Feedback is written and specific — not generic. For the capstone in Deep Learning Projects, you'll have scheduled check-in sessions with your mentor.
How do I pay and when does my access start?
Payment is processed by bank transfer or online payment after you enquire and confirm your enrolment. Course access opens at the start of the next scheduled cohort, which we'll confirm with you directly.
Will I receive a certificate on completion?
Learners who complete a course and submit all required exercises receive a Cerdas Academy completion document. We aim to keep this honest — it reflects what was studied and completed, not a simplified credential.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. We collect only the information needed to manage your enrolment and communicate with you. We don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Our full approach is described in our Privacy Policy.
